Job Summary Statement: The Community Manager (CM) will manage the brand’s social media accounts, concept and write copy for the content being created, and be passionate about analytics. The CM will keep their finger on the pulse of the audience, understand what they are engaging with and provide recommendations to help improve content moving forward. The CM reports to the Director of Digital and Social Media and the Creative Director.
For this particular brand, the CM will develop and manage the day-to-day content on the Hispanic market social media initiatives. It is imperative for the CM to be fluent in Spanish (particularly writing). The CM is to develop strategic content calendars, analytics reports and social media campaigns. The CM will work in partnership with the day-to-day Content Creator to brainstorm and create content for the Latino pages that belong to the brand. You are the liaison between the community and the brand.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Act as the ‘dupla/partner’ to the Content Creator who concepts and develops day-to-day content for the Latino social media channels. Become an expert in the client’s business, services, competitive and marketing needs. Build relationships within the brand’s social media community and create value for them. Management of day-to-day, hands-on community management, i.e. replying to questions and concerns, liking positive feedback and/or replying to it, writing and scheduling posts, etc. Track and analyze the performance of social media posts and channels and make recommendations accordingly. Attend a variety (both during and after traditional work hours) of events to capture and/or create social media content. Monitor the campaign’s performance and listen to the community in social media to help provide strategic and creative direction; helping to positively influence the work. Keep an evergreen document of social media best practices and always-changing specs. Prepare (pull and analyze data) monthly reports. These are to provide a deep understanding of what worked, what didn’t, share learnings and offer recommendations. Prepare a snapshot weekly performance report to be shared every Monday.

Keep an eye on emails and respond/address them in a timely manner. Manage social media projects on-time and on-budget. Complete expense reports no longer than 30 days after expense incurred. Assist with any and all projects/assignments as requested. Adhere to all company policies. Expected to hit the ground running.
Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. Must provide samples of past social media work for review; best practices and proficiency. Experience in developing content for Facebook, Instagram and Twitter is required. 2-4 years of social media experience. Experience with analytics tools (provide list of tools used). Experience on Sprinklr and RivalIQ a plus but not required (this can be learned quickly).
Bonus Strong personal social media presence. Experience with contests, polls, and promotions/sweepstakes, is a plus. Published writing examples and awards.
Language Skills: Must be fluent in Spanish (particularly written) and English.
